writes:ive been meeting a girl on the weekend for the last few weeks. we both really like eachother. the problem is that she and her ex are still texting and things and see eachother every now and then. he slept with someone behind her back, months ago and they tried to stay together but she said it was never the same. i can tell she still has some feelings for him, i think its because its her first boyfriend and she finds it hard to totally let him go(well she actually told me this). she told me she thinks that she only keeps in touch because she hasnt really liked anyone else. anyway at the beginning of this week she asked me out and for some reasons neither of us could end up making it. i then asked her out and i had no reply, so i asked her whats happening and if she was interested because i was getting mixed signals and was really confused. she then text me saying shes confused 2 and that she really really likes me but its awkward for her and that she needs to completley finish things with this guy or shel feel bad.i sed i totally understand and that im just ettin frustrated cos i really like her.anyway that night we spoke on the phone all night and i managed to get her to meet me on the friday.i had text her thursday night without reply. on the friday i phoned her and she sed shes on the other line can she phone back. well she didn ring back, so i called again in the evening and asked wot happened. she said some obviouse bull excuse, so i sed whats happening because i feel a bit stupid texting and phoning with no reply. she then said do you wanna just leave it? i said its up to you, then she said "im just thinking of you". so i could tell she didnt want to see me so i said ok and we said goodbye.i then sent her a nice message saying iv enjoyed her company and i hope everything works out for her. anyway, im gutted now cos i really did like her a lot. its also frustrating because those three or 4 weeks it was so blatent that she really liked me loads too. i understand that her head is messed up with her ex but how can she suddenly decide she wants to just leave it, just like that? she was telling me how much she liked me and even her friends told me.is there any possibility she may get back in touch with me? is there any thing i can do? any advice would be really appreciated.
