writes:I had sex with my boyfriend today for the first time. (We were both virgins before). I'm happy about it, except from one thing. We didn't use protection because it wasn't really planned.If I go and get the morning after pill tomorrow, should I be okay? I am aware that you can use it for up to 72 hours, but I am also aware that the longer you leave it the less effective it is. It happened before 3pm this afternoon, and I should be able to take one by 11am tomorrow. Should I definately be okay?One other question-if I am the only person who my boyfriend has ever done anything sexual with, and I have only ever done sexual things with him and one other(BUT all that happened with the one other person was he fingered me, and I really doubt doing that could've given me anything)is there any possible way for STIs to be caught between me and my current boyfriend?Because if there isn't, I think I'll just try to get on the pill and only use that rather than condoms.Thanks

Ok get the morning-after pill! And by the way you can get an STI without having sex.(i.e something on the face) You should always use a condom......from now on do that. Especially because you are so young, and you most likely won't be sexually active with just him for the rest of your life. So use that condom 100% of the time. And if you plan on staying sexually active it wouldn't hurt to get on the pill.

if he was a virgin then no you couldn't of caught an STI
Next time though use a condom so you wont have to worry!
