The fact you were on your period means that the egg was released and probably gone away with the lining of the womb already, and anyway, even if you ovulate really early, sperm lives for up to 3 days and the womb after a period is highly unlikely to sustain a fertilised egg as there is hardly anything there. Why would you want to even try with a tampon on anyway? Uggh just the thought makes me feel sick..

Always a chance of pregnancy when you have unprotected sex. The only thing that protects is a condom. Besides, when the tip of his penis was inside of you there wasn't any water or chlorine to interfere with the little swimmers. And they can probably get around a tampon too.
However, the chances are minimal. Minimal minimal. Hardly there. You were on your period, he didn't come, it was for a short period of time etc. However, even if there was only 0.01% percent chance of pregnancy, once you get pregnant you're pregnant 100%. It can happen.
Be careful next time, never have unprotected sex and think "but it will be ok". You don't know if it'll be ok.

Sperm can live for up to three days inside the body. Even if you are on your period, it would depend on how long your period is and when you ovulate. Not every woman's body works the same way in that manner.
The only way to know for sure is to wait until you can take a pregnancy test, which is not until after your next period. I know it is a long time to wait and hard to wait, too, but it is the only way.
