writes: Whats the best way to break it off with someone? I've been with my boyfriend almost two years but I just don't feel the same anymore. Nothing really happened and I still care about him but I don't want to date anymore. I feel so bad and I really wish I wanted him but for some reason I don't and its beyond my control. I know that he loves me alot and always says really sweet things to me. If i ended it I know it would just crush him. Also, what if i end up changing my mind after? I'm so confused can someone please help? thanks

Decide your course of action and stick to it. Often after a relationship is ended, we start thinking about the good parts and want to get back together. The problem is that it usually ends the same way it did the previous time once reality sets in.
Your best bet is to decide what you want and then go with it. If you want to break up, tell him. Tell him that you don't feel it anymore. Be honest. It may feel harsh, and he may cry, but really honesty is better than some "It's not you, it's me" line. Ending a relationship is never easy, but if you've come this far it probably is time.
