Recently I embarked on a weight loss program and I've lost some by eating better and consistent exercise. The thing is...and I am horridly embarrassed to say this, is that my private part ...the "v" part of it is very fat. Not the inbetween or anything, just the mound as people say sometimes. I can't weat any type of bathing suit or jeans because it looks like its swollen. I am really badly self concious about it and just don't know how to get rid of it. I can actually hold it with my hand....sorry..but I really upset by how it is.Can anyone help at all in letting me know how to get rid of fat there....I don;t even want to get a boyfriend right now because it bothers me and I am afraid I will be made fun of.HelpThanksS Reply to this Question Share |

When I had a high body fat % like most men it is all centred around my belly area. Now a lot of idiots think that just doing sit ups will remove that, it won't, you have to work the entire body for proper results.
Just keep going it will lessen as usual it wouldn't be a bad idea to go see a doctor to ensure it's not some kind of symptom of a medical issue and to get some advice on good fat loss techniques.

Hi, well done losing the weight! Unfortunately you can't target one area to lose weight from. We have little control over the way fat is distributed on our body. I wonder if it's really fat or if it's loose skin? If you've lost a lot of weight it might be skin rather than fat. Unfortunately that can only be removed surgically. Maybe go to see your doctor for some advise?
I don't think this will be as noticeable to others as it is to you. I doubt a decent boyfriend would make fun of you. A very small minority of people have 'perfect' bodies. The rest of us have flaws and feel uncomfortable or self conscious about some part of our body. Not to belittle your feelings, but you're not on your own.
Take care.

It may be that if you lost a little more weight (only if you needed to) then it may go down a little or perhaps you could speak to a doctor, because when you say it looks swollen, do you think there could actually be a problem?
we all get self conconcious about our body parts. im not a large person but iv always hated my arms! no matter how small i get it feels as though my arms stay the same! people tell me they r not as bad as i think. so it is probably the same with you and its not as bad as you are seeing because it makes you feel really bad.
