I can give you advice based on the USA, but if you from another country, then my advice may not apply.1st, go file with an attorney for divorce. Make sure you list the cause as 'ABANDONMENT', not irreconcilable differences. Your attorney will file the court papers then attempt to send her notification of the pending divorce action. Make sure he sends this notification by REGISTERED MAIL RECEIPIENT ONLY. It should be sent to her last known address, even if it is your address. If it is your address you have to use, make sure you don't sign for it (if it is sent properly for receipient only, the postal worker wouldn't let you sign for it). When it gets returned as undeliverable to your attorney, he must then publish in 2 local newspapers (it can be any paper that publishes legal notices, doesn't have to be a major newspaper) 3 times (meaning on 3 differents dates of publication) notice of the pending divorce action. The clock starts ticking after the 3rd publication date. States in the US vary on specific divorce time periods, but the most common is 6 months if it is uncontested and if she can't be served it will be uncontested. The divorce date will come, she won't be there, but you will be granted the divorce since she didn't respond to the registered letter, nor the newspaper publications. Total time should be about 8 months and you're free. You'll get a divorce decree and that's it. If you post what country/state you're from I can give you the specific time period, some states are as long as 2 years, and some as few as 3 days, but almost all USA states are 6 months.Good Luck.
