This may seem like a silly question.so here it is : I have known this guy for three years we dated before , it ended because of schedule conflicts , basically we never had time to see each other our lives were very hetic, fast forward and we now have time. Anyways that is background. My quandry is when we dated before he was a jeans and t- shirt kinda guy who just wanted to stay in and watch a movie , I have always over dressed . This time around he shows up always dressed beautifully and we go out to nice places . He still likes to on occasion to stay in but even then shows up in a nice sweater or button down. Don't get me wrong I love the way he looks , I even loved his casual attire . When I have asked him about the change in his clothing style he answers " just felt like it " .He still does the T shirt and jeans when we are not together and he is with his freinds .

Fatherly Advice agony auntCould be any number of things. Dressing up is a sign that he is trying to impress someone, probably you. He may be trying to improve himself over all. He may have spent some time at a good menswear store. I'll tell you it can be a real eye opener.

Don't be shy with the complements. When you like what he is doing let him know. If you like the rugged look of jeans and a tee, tell him that too.
