I am not sure why you had the first dream, whether it was fantasy, fear of getting caught or whatever. However, I believe that your girlfriend had the second dream due to the fact that you told her about the first. It is the power of suggestion. When we dream at night, it is often about things we have been thinking about during the day. You told her of the dream and it was 'on her mind' that night so she dreamed about it. Thats all.

Perhaps the both of you had this dream because it may be a worry the both of you have about getting caught when you both have sex. Dont get over your head. It doesnt mean it will happen. Try not to worry so much!

We cannot control our thoughts and we cannot control our dreams. In a blink of eye so many thoughts come and pass through our minds which are not necessarily what we think. There are dreams that are mostly meaningless, and I wouldst give them any credence, in terms of Freudian psychology or in any other respect.
But...dreams may have meanings beyond the science of psychology. Sometimes they mean just the opposite of what you see.
