I have had sex without protection- i know its a bad thing to do but i make sure i do now. I had a check up for an STI before, i was tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia. My friend was tested as well and they said if we had a problem they would text us. After 2 weeks she was texted saying she had gonorrhea and after a month i still hadn't heard anything. So i thought i was clear, then later i got a text saying there was an infection. then i found out i had Chlamydia, and took the single dose of tablets and now hopefully im fine. However i still don't feel like everything is OK. I recently had sex with my boyfriend for the first time, after about 10 minutes i was really dry, and it got very painful so we stopped. this has never happened before and my friend suggested i had thrush. So i brought some cream from the pharmacist but i didn't specify what kind of thrush i thought i had, i just asked for Canisten, i dont know if what i got was correct for vaginal thrush or not. i havent had sex since but i still dont feel like everythings ok. is there a chance i have a different STI? Or something else? please help...

There are two types of canesten cream- canesten for fungal infections like athlete's foot and canesten for thrush. Read the instructions on yours and see which one you've got. If you're still not feeling right down there go back to the clinic since as you know you can live for ages with an STI and not know about it so it's worth checking it out.
