met a guy on holiday, we got on brill. he did show signs of being insecure and a bit jealous. and i think he liked me to chase after him. since i got home i txt him the other week and he did not reply to me although my text did not require a response. he had gone funny on me 2 days before i went home. i text him once more today stating we should just be friends as a long distance relationship would just be to hard for me and not what i want. i did this as i needed closure and i never thought he would get back to me. he emailed me, i couldnt believe that i got such a quick response. he acted like he didnt care about me now but would still be friends and kept saying a few times that he didnt write to me before as we had no future and he didnt want to upset me. i dont understand this as before i left him on holiday he had been ignoring me because i would not take his email address and i had said that i wouldnt come and visit him. is he playing games with me here or what as i sense he is trying to upset me now.

natmarie agony auntWhat happend with this? are you still in touch? I am in more or less the same situation. The guy I had a holdiay romance with went funny on me too just two days before I left - It is all very confusing. I initiate all the contact, and he responds.... but never initiaates first contact - very weird.

I 100000000000000% agree with Emily, you rejected him TWO times. That being done, you should expect an out-of-the-ordinary answer ! (otherwise, he has a problem).

You rejected him on holiday and then you sent a text rejecting him again.

Can you really blame him for being a bit funny with you?

Just leave it alone. He doesn't sound like he's going to be a great friend to you anyway.

Why waste any more time on him? Just leave him to it and get on with your life.

Good Luck!! xx
