writes:Hi everyoneAbout a month ago I had unprotected sex, he didn't actually go inside me anytime but thought it was best to get the morning after pill anyway. After getting the morning after pill I was told to come back 4 weeks later and as I was there I took a few packs of the contraception pill. I've been taking the contraception since I had the morning after pill and came back 5 weeks later to make sure I was pregnant. It came out negative.It's a week later and my contraception pills don't actually stop until this Sunday. I take them each night, I took one last night and this afternoon I've started to get a few spots of blood. Is this normal? I'm on the pill and it doesn't stop until Sunday so surely I shouldn't come on until then?Thanks everyone

 Do not stop taking your pill. So no its not exactly normal but do not panic. Carry on taking the birthcontrol pill and hopefully things will be ok, if not.. you will know in a few days. Its not a matter of life or death a few days wont hurt. OK? Let us know..

 Doesn't sound like anything to worry about as you have only just started taking them so your body is still getting used to it. You do need to make sure you don't miss any pills and you take them at the same time everyday.

 Unfortunately with the pill you can still spot whether or not you're taking them properly. It's nothing to worry about :) It can sometimes happen though.If it does bother you try going to the doctors and talking to them about it.
