writes: Well, met a girl online, she added me on a social site i go on, we kinda hit it off and chat for hours all week and we get to the stage were we arrange to meet up for a drink. She said she's really looking forward to meeting me. So we have no contact for a day and i text the the morning of the date to see if she is ok meeting up, and her reply is im glad you got in touch i broke my phone and had no way of getting in touch with you and my internet is broke. And says she has had a boring weekend and got a migraine. Now i dont no if she's kinda trying to get out of going or not, If she doesn't want to go why not just be honest. Any input would be great, thanks.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 May 2009): Maybe she feels shy to meet up and bottled out. You could ask her whether this is the case and if so maybe you could have a few chats on the phone first to break the ice.
On the other hand she could have decided not to meet at all. Either way, you need to ask her and see what the truth is.
