writes:Im dealing with a shy girl but im not sure if she likes me or if shes just being nice. Just about everytime I talk to her, she asks me how my day is, or how im doing in general. Whenever I talk to her in person she never looks me in the eye and shes really quiet. Ive complemented her and when I did she kind of turned away and said thanks really really quietly. Ive also notice that she really caring when im sick by offering advice on how to get feeling better or by simply telling me to get better. I dont know if I have seen her friends and her sister staring at me but somethings funny, because before they wouldnt even recognize me now they see me, and her sister pointed at me and started talking to her friends. Stranger she gave me her number without me asking for it, and before I really started talking to her, she always tried to start conversations on facebook. Lastly she text me out of the blue asking how I am, and she pokes me on facebook whenever I poke her. Please tell me if you think she being nice or if she really likes me!!

reader, anonymous, writes (27 March 2011): Yes, it is pretty obvious she likes you. Do you like her back? If you do, ask her out or suggest you do something together. She does sound very shy, so it is unlikely she will make the first move.
