It would be something I would consider because I think anus hair is really gross but its not exactly an easy area to reach and I don't want to cut myself.I've also heard of people who have their partners shave that area for them but I can't imagine a guy actually wanting to do that! Could shaving a girls anus actually be a turn on for some people?(bcuz if it is that would be a lot easier than trying to do it myself) Reply to this Question

Lol so funny! Not you just the situation! Anal hair is very difficult to reach unless you have crazy long arms! If you want to shave I suggest a long mirror to either squat over or bend over in front of lol! And! An electric razor! I use a lady Remington they are like 20 bucks at target or whatever store you have where you are! The female brand has a bikini trimmer and its just a straight safety blade thing. You can use it on your other lady area too! And! You won't get razor burn and normally won't get any nicks! My friend told me her husband loved to shave it for her so I asked my hubby and as embarrassing as it was it was way easy! And he had fun. It can be very intimate! Just don't toot! It can soo ruin the mood! Lol! And if you don't want to shave don't worry! Most guys don't even notice it when in the act. They usually have their 'hands full' elsewhere! Good luck! And try to have a good sense of humor about it if he helps!

reader, anonymous, writes (3 February 2009): Its really not very hard to do yourself.Just include it with your normal shaving routine,and be very careful.Its more the area around the anus that has hair,than the anus itself.I would assume that you currently shave the vaginal area,and thats all?I think it would be much more appealing to a man if it was all shaved,front to back.Otherwise,your only half shaving that general area,which could look a little odd.Just try it out,its not hard to do if your used to shaving.

 I think there are professionals out there who can wax that kind of thing. If my wife asked me to shave her butt, I would roll around laughing and then when I realised she was serious, I wouldn't know what to do.Definitely a massive turn off!

 Grooming someone is often a turn on to many people, however it just depends on the person and the area. A lot of women fancy the opportunity to help shave a man's face, or even go as far as shaving or waxing his chest. So if you have a significant other, it's probably something you could bring up as a general topic like "Hey, have you ever thought it'd be sexy to shave someone?". I think it would be best to ask 'in general' to gauge his feeling on the topic altogether instead of just jumping into "hey baby! shave my butt!! " :)Before you consider shaving your anus hair it's important to consider the physical effects of this move. Firstly, that is an incredibly sensitive area. Like the first time you shaved your armpits, or your bikini area, there is bound to be quite a bit of irritation, and the problem with shaving is that there is a lot of trauma to the skin and you can chance complications such as ingrown hairs which can get infected. Also, as the hair grows back ,there can be a lot of itching and discomfort which could cause you some embarrassing moments, especially in the hot seasons. A good alternative may be having it waxed at a salon, or day spa. There, they use less abrasive wax, and it can be a little bit more safe then having someone else shave you. Do realize that the hair down there is very course, and until you've taken a grooming pattern it will be painful both shaving and waxing. I personally would probably opt to have myself waxed by a professional, to avoid any nerve induced embarrassing moments (i.e farting) with my significant other, but if you're comfortable with it, and he's excited to do it, go for it!!
