YES of course it is. Sex and physical intimacy is generally the biggest marker of difference between a friendship and a relationship.

But it's just as important that I get romance to go with it. It's not about getting down to it asap. It's about being seduced or seducing.

Some couples have no sex and are perfectly happy though.
