If it was a mistake wash over and let it go, if its still going on soon as someone finds out youve had it, because were all humans and god gave us a brain, so use it, find a boy or girlfriend, there is how many million people out there i mean all you can find is your bro/sis/uncle or aunt/nephew or niece.....sick....sick...yuk im going...im posting this because my uncle went off with my sister it went on for too long and now its messed everyones life up and when i find em theyve had it!

A
reader, anonymous, writes (10 October 2008): Well, I would say that sleeping with your sister as you describe it is not incest, but could be considered incestuous. That means suggesting incest, suggesting that there is some kind of sexual or near-sexual relationship going on between you.
So are you saying that you and your sister sleep in the same bed together, in just your sleepwear, underwear, etc.? Are you hugging, cuddling or holding on to each other while you are in bed together, either before you go to sleep or when you wake up in the mornings? If so, why are you doing this with each other?

A
reader, anonymous, writes (6 October 2008): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI didn't mean sex by the word "Love making". I mean just sleeping with each other without f***ing, kissing, smooching, being comfortable in less clothes before each other. Without the usage of reproductive organs. I want to know whether it's ok if the sister allows her brother to do anything to her except f***ing.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (4 October 2008): I didn't understand your followup question about kissing and lovemaking. Lovemaking usually means sex, so I don't know what you mean by lovemaking. But kissing, cuddling, touching or caressing each other's body in a sexual way, including foreplay, would be incestuous behavior, thought not eomplete incest. However, things like handjobs and blowjobs or cunnilingus I think would be incest because they are forms of sex.

Dear "Is sex between silblings incest,
I'd bet you also have
English in some sort of class, since you are a student. But
in English or otherwise, the term 'incest' is to describe
sexual activity between family members, whether parental-
and off-spring, uncle/aunt-niece/nephew, grandparent-grand-
child, even cousin-cousin, and definetly brother-sister, et
cetera, etc ! The total consensus here is 'incestual activ-
ity, whether in religious conjecture or in the social realm
is wrong, and undeniably not only because it leads to the
birth of mentally and physically impaired human beings, but
this type of activity can also be damaging to the mental
state of those engaging in such activities. To sum it all
up, 'incest' is not showing responsible love, which we do
need to show and give to our family members.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (1 October 2008): I suppose the dividing line is penetration/non-penetration, but all the other stuff like oral sex and mutual masturbation would, I think, be classed by most people as incestuous.
I think it's a taboo that probably originated in the Bible, and with good reason - birth defects.
I never had a sister, but if I did she'd probably be just as ugly as me and I wouldn't have fancied her anyway.

It went on about 3 months and we did it all over the place and sometimes several times a day. Eventually, she said you no this is wrong and we have to stop and we did. Today I am 37 and we never speak of the subject.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (6 August 2008): I too have read about a lot of sibling incest experiences, and many of them were consensual, according to the posts I've read. Quite a few of them involved a girl practicing oral sex on her brother so that she would know how to do it when she got a boyfriend. Many of these incidents started as a result of the sister accidentally walking in on her brother masturbating. Other times a guy accidentally saw his sister naked and got sexually aroused and began to fantasize about her.
The London Times published an artice on July 15 from a woman who says she had sex with her brother and doesn't feel guilty about it. She said she had a sexual relationship with her brother starting at age 14 and continuing up until shortly before he got married. She said she has nothing but good memories about it and feels there was no harm done. She also wrote that one of her college girl friends hinted that she too had sex with her own brother, and said it happened more often than people though. She likened it to practicing one's social skills on a family member, and as long as both partners enjoyed it, there was no harm done.
You can find the London Times article by doing a Google search for the headline, which read "I had sex with my brother and don't feel guilty about it." I think you may find the article very useful in your studies.

Yes that is incest. plain and simple
But like O conner said alot of preteens/early teens come on with sexual attraction placed at a sibling. This may just be misplaced hormones, or other issues. To each his (weird) own

yes it is incest. and yeah it happens alot. a good scroll through the archives of this site will show you that alot more ppl than we would think feel sexual attraction or have had sex with a sibling. i suppose there is a fine line that gets crossed when you hit a certain age. i mean i have heard and read that it is normal for toddlers and young children to feel sexual attraction and more of a curiosity towards a sibling.
