Is rubbing my head a sign of anything?

A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Ok...this is a bit of an odd one...guy I'm seeing for 4 months, always rubs or strokes the back of my head. when were out and were standing next to each other he rubs the back of my head with my hair. Im wondering is this a good sign. Means he sees me as mate etc? Were not dating as he doesn't want a relationship but we kind of are. Isnt that quite a Boyf thing to do, or is it more of a mate thing? He does it all the time. It can be little annoying as if were out sitting/standing he'll start rubbing the back of my head. Is this a sign of anything?!

A female reader, anonymous, writes (25 July 2011):

It's a sign he's an affectionate person. This does not change the fact he doesn't want to date you or be in a relationship with you though. 4 months is quite a long time to be seeing a man who is just wasting your time and won't date you.

Roshii agony auntit's a sign of possession in a sense, you might not be dating but he's showing that your his in a subconscious kind of way.

He basically doesn't want other guys thinking your "Fair game" i guess.

Hope that helps.
