hii im a PG student... and i have ben tortured by my lecturer a lot.. she also encourages other lecturers to give less marks even though they give good marks for me... she never teaches well.. i dont attend her class fully... i still have attended 60 % of her class... still she tortures me mentally by differentiating...

it irritates me a lot... i cant complaint to higher authorities as its of no use ... they wont take any action for sure...

i feel like doing some pranks on her to make her feel the same way what me and my friends have felt..

that lady lecturer has made the same way to my friends also... dont know what to do for her....

Tisha-1 agony auntRe-read what So Very Confused wrote to your followup.

You've got a new teacher, everyone has a problem with her, that's going to be obvious to the supervisors of the teaching staff. If it is as you describe then you are not the only one who feels discriminated against.

Speak to your advisor about being transferred out. Show up, do your school work and don't engage beyond that.

Twenty three is a good age to give up ideas of revenge. :)

So_Very_Confused agony auntOP your last two follow ups indicate to me a lack of maturity that is harming you in this case.

IF the problem the new instructor has is with EVERYONE, then it’s not personal and you need to just tough it out.

In life, you will learn that we often have to put up with bosses or co-workers we do not like.

Better to learn to kill them with kindness than sulk and misbehave.

I wish you all the best. ONE bad class can ruin your GPA and you clearly are more concerned about punishing the teacher than taking the best care of yourself that you can.

A female reader, Tisha-1 United States +, writes (5 December 2012):

Tisha-1 agony auntIf you don't show up for class and you don't do the work, if you sit in class and daydream childish dreams about revenge, then you will not get good marks in her class. How about transferring out of her class if you can't stand her? Or if you can't, show up for all her classes with an attitude that you will learn what you can from her, no matter how poorly she teaches, and drop the daydreaming in class bit.

Are you 22-25 or 12-15? Because right now, you sound like a little girl.

The class is temporary. Her being your teacher is temporary. Your attitude and your behavior you carry with you permanently. How about trying to be the best student you can be, despite the trials and tribulations of lousy teaching?

Be a bigger person.

Revenge is for small-minded, immature people.

A female reader, So_Very_Confused United States +, writes (5 December 2012):

So_Very_Confused agony auntthe fact that you only attend 60% of her classes is why you are marked low. Here that's not even acceptable passing attendance.

LIVING WELL is the best revenge.

show up 100% of the time, study hard do well in the class. that's how you do your best.

Honeypie agony auntYou know the saying: "Two wrongs never make a right?"

Don't sink to her level. And perhaps she is hounding you because you are only attending 60% of her classes. She is making an example of you for her class - maybe to try and get others to attend more.

I assume you can't transfer class?
