She always says 'I wish you were my boyfriend' and 'aww, you're so cute', mainly because I can be a bit shy and spluttering. Then there's other things like when I mentioned I wanted to see a movie she said 'take me', and 'do you wanna get married? You're the sort of guy I want to marry'. She's a very jokey and bubbly kind of girl, which makes me think this all might be sarcastic. I do hang around with another lad at uni, and she never makes these kind of comments to him. She generally seems happy and smiley around me and brushes against me quite a bit. I'm not asking anyone to massage my ego, I just need to know whether she is interested or not before making a move.

ben345 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionIt's just difficult with a classmate as it's difficult to suddenly ask them out, and doing it bluntly would make things awkward if she wasn't interested. I'll continue to jokily flirt back but then I feel I won't get any clearer signals. She's just such a laugh and I can really imagine myself with her.

in my honest opinion, no, i don't think she's interested. i think she's just being playful.
she may see you like a little brother or something. i wouldn't say things like that unless i was just poking fun and joking around.
of course, that's just me. who knows.

she can say no and then you'll know she's not interested. it may sting but you will have the satisfaction of having tried and you won't have to wonder anymore and can find another girl to enjoy and ask out.
