A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Sorry it's so long but it's been bugging me for a while...

She teaches my favorite subject, drama. Last year we got on pretty well and on drama trips she'd always sit near me, like in front of me or something. and i could tell she was listening to my conversation sometimes cos she'd comment on what i was saying. To be truthful i listened to her conversations too. Once she got my name wrong and i joked being really offended and upset so she got down on her knees and apologized over and over and over then was all 'im sorry im sorry i love you' but joking.

This year i got the female lead in the school show and in rehearsals she's started becoming even more friendly towards me. Like i'll notice her staring at me for long periods of time but when she realizes i've noticed she'll look away. The other day i noticed her looking at me and she looked like she was about to cry, like she had tears in her eyes but when i looked at her she turned away. If i'm talking to friends i've noticed her looking over at me with this little smile on her face. She's always coming over to me and asking me to do 'little jobs' like go collect the scripts from her to hand out or to carry heavy equipment out to her car etc

In one rehearsal we had to choreograph a really complicated scene where a group of us are grabbed from behind. She said 'now, here's the tricky bit' and took her cardigan off. i joked 'oh it's getting serious now, the cardigan's coming off' and she looked at me, smiled and said 'you always know you're getting somewhere when clothes start coming off' and winked. She always waves at me if i see her driving home, i'm always making her laugh and vice versa. I'm not bothered by it, i've had a crush on her for ages. But i was just wondering if she's flirting....i know nothing can ever happen cos of student teacher relationships but i just wanted other peoples opinions..

She's just being a friendly teacher, nothing more. There's nothing in it, and you're right, nothing can happen anyway. Enjoy the crush and leave it all at that.
