Sounds to me like you are quite normal.
Penises grow in all sorts of shapes and sizes as well as different angles.
It sounds as though yours is quite normal though.
If you had said you had some sort of exaggerated curve to the right or left or up or down then mabe there would have been some concern.
But as you describe it, no you are not abnormal. Doc.

The diagram looked better in my little box, but it didn't turn out terribly. Anyhow. Yes. STRAIGHT towards the ceiling when you're sitting down. If it didn't do that, THAT would be weird.

I answered your last question, and I'm telling you the exact same thing here.
It SHOULD point up. When you're sitting down, it SHOULD point up at the ceiling. And when you stand up, it'll probably stand straight forward.

I hope that diagram turned out alright. That is you standing up. Sitting down, well, I don't know how to make that on the computer. But YES. It should stick straight up in the air! Everyone else's penis does the EXACT same thing, right towards the ceiling!

Odd isn't it? Isn't there Sex Education at your school? PLEASE tell me that your school district offers it.
BTW, I was sarcastic. They do indeed grow hard and tend to grow upwards, and if it's not point upwards, and instead going downwards, well... It might not be an erection... You might want to speak to a school counsellor or your doctor for that.
