 It looks to me as if he wanting to take your friendship of 18 years to the next level. Giving you key to his safty deposit box, and kissing you with passion is a big sign of his feelings for you. If this is not what you want be honest with him and tell him you only see him as a friend. But if you feeling are returned for him then all well and good.
