He said he still likes me alot and really wants to keep in contact and stay friends, he doesnt want to lose that. I am wondering if this means that maybe he sees a future with me later down the track? Do you think he may think that?I told him I wasnt sure if i could be friends with him, because of the hurt. Its been two weeks since he broke up with me and neither of us have contacted each other. I am wondering if this is cause hes trying to give me space and is waiting for me to contact him or because he honestly dosnt feel any need/desire to talk to me?Your thoughts?

reader, anonymous, writes (6 April 2008): I have to agree with Laura1318, I think he was trying to down play the break up so not to hurt you as much. He probably likes you as a friend, but that means if you by chance run into each other again.
Time to move on and leave this relationship in the rearview mirror.
