before you read this please don't judge me as i know i have made a mistake and am trying to fix it.

i slept with a guy and he found out that right before that i slept with someone else. he is now saying i gave him chlamydia! i know he has slept with other people but he claims he used protection with these girls..whereas me and him didn't. i do not know if i have it and so im going to be checked up immediately..but my main concern (apart from my health) is that he is going to spread it round that i gave it him..he is very angry with me..but i don't know if hed be immature enough to do that to me. if he did that he'd have to admit he caught it too!! i really am worried about this. also he claims he must have got it off me as the doctor said he got it about a week ago (when we had sex). is it possible for doctors to tell when it was contracted?!

please help me..i need urgent advice!! thanks

Well firstly, the doctor wouldnt be able to tell him when he got it exactly and I'm pretty sure it'd take longer than a week to develop and it usually takes a couple of weeks to get test results back. So he is clearly clueless about the entire situation and is inventing bits up to scare you.

Even so it is still a good idea to get a check up to make sure.

I doubt very much that he would tell other people about the situation as it would have to admit he has chlaymydia himself. And if he does, what proof does he have? By telling stories, he is making himslef look worse.

Don't worry about it, if he was going to say something Im sure he would have said by now.

Sorry babes, I can't give you the reassurance that you need. If he has always used protection, then it is likely that he caught it from you and that why he is 100% sure. He is angry, I don't know him, but of course he could be angry enough to damage your reputation. If you didn't use protection with the other guy it is likely that you gave it to him, and the other guy should be tested too before he gives it to somebody else.

Sorry babes, go to the doctor and talk to them. Get yourself checked out, and speak to the other guy as well before he spreads it to someone else. Luckily it's chlamydia, they can treat this disease. It could have been worse, he could have been diagnoised with HIV or AIDS. That's why you need to use a Condom each and every time unless your in a long term relationship and have been together for a while. Chlamydia can be treated as long as you don't wait too long, so don't worry. You'll both be ok and no matter what happens, people forget about everything in time. Hold your head high, you made a mistake, but you know that, and you and him have acted quickly and got yourself sorted out.

PS: Make sure the other guy gets himself tested too before he spreads it to somebody else.
