I also gained bad love handles and a small gut. I weigh 121 lbs and im about 5'2. im pretty active. i take a lot of walks and i play soccer and swim. i exercise when I can find time and I try to eat healthy. But after all this I still have these love handles and small gut. and stretch marks. Im really freaking out because i feel uncomfortable with my body. Really uncomfortable.Basically my questions are, is this natural for me to have these changes? Will I ever be able to get rid of them? And if so, what should I do differently? Please take the time to answer my questions. I'm really upset about this.

yup i'm afraid its just your body changing if you keep doing you sports and exercising you'll be fine, stretch marks fade eventually but trust me curves are the best thing ever guys go crazy for girls with curves rather than skinny size zero chicks

Right now you may be feeling like your body is not listening to you- it's not behaving like it normally does!!!!
It's true, your body is trying to ''balance out'' and this is something that will last all through puberty. But there's no need to worry- everything you mentioned is perfectly normal. By maintaining a healthy diet and excersizing, you will be giving your body all that it needs to function.
As for feeling uncomfortable- this is something that will pass with time. Spend time getting to know yourself- once you know who you are on the inside, who you are on the outside becomes more familiar, and easier to accept.
(and by the way- once your curves even out, and when you fully grow in to them you will look incredible!)
Right now though, concentrate on being with friends who make you feel good about yourself, because when you are happy, your body is happy too!

Hey sweetie :)
Your body is trying to balance out with itself- hence creating your figure at the moment- it will change but you need to bear with it. On the side of the stretch marks, you can get products to heal those up it's not a life-long problem. and darling, EMBRACE THOSE CURVES, they aren't as bad as they are made out to be, as long as your exercising and eating healthily I don't personally see a problem. It's just about growing up
