I usually say
love isnt love without pain
love is supposed to be good
but perhaps sometimes people need to encounter bad situations
where pain occurs
to really know its love and to make that love stronger

No, Love isn't painful. The painful part is the crap you have to deal with by having a relationship with someone you love. The sick kids, the dying relatives, the mortgage that worries you to death, the pain of our own insecurities, etc. It's the everyday stuff that is the painful part, not the love. Love is only good.

No, it's supposed to be enjoyable, but a lot of people encounter situations where love is painful anyway, so you're not alone.
Why do you think love is painful?
