The guy is young At 18 theres alot of things you dont think about, I dont kno this guy i wouldnt call him a creep i just see a young guy thats not thinking. 18 is a wierd age they say your an adult you can go to the army but you cant have a beer or rent a car or by a hand gun but your an adult. This guy shouldnt be sleeping with a 13 yr old my opinion is he could legally sleep with a 16 yr old or 17 yr old girl they would be more attractive and fully developed so why is he sleeping with 13 yr old.A normal guy would say well sex isnt worth spending the next 25 yrs in jail and having to register ads a sex offender for life this guy mght not be all that smart. Of course they would have to proove hes sleeping with her she might say hes not but if her parens find out and file charges he could be in trouble. tell your friend to break it off with this guy he needs to have a relationship thats legal.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 September 2009): there are two types of rape in the eyes of the law. One where one person says no but is forced to have sex (non-consentual rape) and the second where someone old enough to legally have sex has sex with someone who is not old enough (statutory rape)
so even though ur friend agreed to have sex, it is statutory rape because she was not old enough and her boyfriend who was old enough knew she was too young

Agreed on or not, according to the LAW, it is rape & above what anyone else thinks, that is what matters in the end:the LAW. And honestly that guy should be jailed...and quick, because he KNOWS the trouble that he could in with this young girl. She's not an adult, she is still a child. She needs to listen to her friends, they obviously are on the correct page.
He should be put away.

The concept is fairly simple, and adult (he's 18) is FIVE years older than a girl of 13. He's had sex with her, and in most locations a 13 year old is too young to give consent. The 18 year old can be charged and convicted of Statutory rape. Prison is likely, and life both in and after prison is likely to be hell. In prison child molesters are not treated too well, after prision they have to register as sex offenders and check in with local police everytime they move. They are usually barred from being in places where children might be, having jobs where they may come in contact with kids...etc.When they move, they have to stay well away from schools, and the nieghbors are likely to get a notice that they have a sexual preditor moving into their neighborhood. Most communities have websites with photos and the charge will likely read "rape of a child".... So, reguardless if you think that becasue a 13 year old kid can consent to an adult screwing her, it's not going to have much weight in the eyes of a judge. Even if the kid crys on the stand and tells everyone how much she "loves" this creap, it's not admissable in court- she's a child, and can't give him that permission...Any adult that would do this is seriously sick and needs to get some real attention.
