I wouldnt say it is wrong but maybe your bf thinks otherwise. Speak to him about it and you should pick up by his reaction and facial expression whether he is comfortable with the idea or not. I dont think there is anything wrong with that.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to try new things and experiment. I expect it's the thrill of being outside and perhaps getting caught.
But remeber it illegal to do this outside and it won't be quite so exciting if you do get caught. Embarrasing certainly and you could get arrested for it.
So if you do go for it make sure that you are careful about where and when.
