I split with a girl i was seeing 2mths ago, and i contacted her a week after we split and we talk daily. we have even met up and i spent the night at hers, no sex but we were close and holding each other.

I`m very attracted to her and enjoy her company the issue is my family didnt like the relationship as she is a single mom.

I would like to be in her life forever she is a fantastic person and we get on so well.

suppose my question is can people go from a relationship to friends like that because I do not want to lose her in my life.

Is it wrong to still be close and have a sexual relationship, she says she is okay with it.
