Is it really strange to be totally inexperienced at 17 - nearly 18? Reply to this Question Share |

I never thought I gave others the impression that I wasn't, lol. So, you're not the only one who's inexperienced. I think it's great that you've waited thus far. People have sex way too early in relationships or when they're drunk and end up regretting it.
Just ease your way into intimate relationships.

It's not unusual, no. However, it is not common. I was 17 before I did anything sexual with anyone, and I was 20 when I lost my virginity to my now-fiance. Don't feel insecure about it at all, and stick to what feels right to you. You'll have plenty of time to experience all you need to with the right person/people, trust me =)

No it is perfectly normal and probably better to not do it yet. Its not good to rush into things latter on you will probably regret it if you do. I was 18 when I had my first kiss and I had just turned 20 when I lost my virginity... Take as much time as you want. You only get one first time!
