Is it too soon to see a lawyer? He left me 2 weeks ago without any money!

my husband walked out 2 weeks ago. we were just fighting everyday. we have been married 11 years but together 20 years. i love him and want him home but he wont even talk to me. he came by last week to get his stuff and told me he loves me,hugged me,and kissed me bye. now i found out he went and bought brand new car. he took everything we had that was paid left me here alone and broke and i cant aford the bills. trying to get job but its hard when all you want to do is stay in bed and cry. thank god everyday for my family and friends trying to help me through this. He is such a good guy never dreamed he would do this to me. we were only fighting for like a month. last month we were happy i thought. please i need some advice. i want him home but tired of begging. is it tio soon to see a lawyer, he said he was gonna give me money every week but havent heard from him at all. i called him he wont answer. im tired of trying. thank you all for listening

I don't think you owe him anything at this point. He obviously isn't too concerned about your welfare.

You need to get a tally of your assets ASAP; especially since he seems to be spending money (buying a new car). The sooner you know what you are entitled to the better.

The sooner he knows that you aren't just going to sit around and wait for this to work out, the better.
