I am an older person and should know this but I want to get it verified.

I have been seeing this man on and off for 20 years and just back together afte being separated for over 5 years.

Everything was going ok until a couple of weeks ago. He has not been with me the last 2 week-ends and also stopped calling so I sent him a letter stating we should not see each other anymore. I have my suspicions that he is seeing someone again.

Yesterday, I received an e-mail from him stating he had been hosptalized and that if I didn't believe him, I had a serious problem. But yet he never called to let me know this.

I told him if you care about someone and is your friend, would'nt you let that person know you were hosptialized. I don't believe him and told him so.

Do you think he is telling the truch or just another one of his famous lies?

Honeypie agony auntObviously he's lied to you in the past or you wouldn't have the thoughts of it being one of his "famous lies".

If he can e-mail you about being hospitalized he could have called. Anyone would have made sure to let friends & loved ones know they are in the hospital. It's not like phones are banned from hospitals. Unless he was comatose he could/should have called, text ed or e-mailed you.

Move on.

I believe your first instinct is correct. Go with your gut!
