So a little while ago I met this guys online and we exchanged skypes and we've been video chatting on there everyday for 3 to 4 hours at a time. Is it strange that I'm really falling for this guy? He lives in new york and I live in california and he bought tickets to come out here in june. Is this whole thing completely insane? I've never felt like this about anyone and I truly want to be with him. Can anyone speak from a personal experience? What should I expect when we actually meet? Help! Reply to this Question Share |

It's good that he bought tickets to come see you. I would hope his intentions would be honorable; as in, just visiting to see if you two are compatible in person. Beware that you might be loving the his potential. If he pressures you to have sex, then you know it's a online fling.
You have to sit back and look at the logistics. This guy is from N.Y. and you're from C.A. that's a lot of distance, so if you two are going to be serious, well, one is going to have to move to the other.
Are you going to ditch your family or is he? Who gets to visit family during Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving? Are you prepared to miss-out on friend's birthdays and other special occasions over this guy?
Be safe.

I don't think it's crazy at all!!. I say go for it. You obviously feel this is right and so do I. My friend's boyfriend lives about 3-4 hours drive away and they get on really well (Together for just over a year and still going strong).
I hope this helps =)
