We get to meet each other only once in a year, that too only for a week. When we both make love to each other, we do not use any kind of protection, we don't really like to, and we have sex almost the whole week, everyday . Is it safe without any protection? And what if i still have sex even after i take contraceptive pill, should i still go for another pill? I love making love to him and that's the only time in a year we get to be together. I don't want to ruin that. What to do?

Of course it's NOT safe and you most likely already have something (50% of people carry HPV).
Pregnancy is just one of the issues. Sperm can live after the act as well. Statistically, it means you could have viable sperm in you for up to two weeks out of the month even if you only slept with him for one week.
You should also acknowledge the issue that you are NOT going out with this guy. You are having a casual sex once a week out of the year. What is he doing the other 51 weeks?
If he does this with other people (also unprotected) and he is indeed 5 years older and likely had more experience than you he can very well carry a disease...often without knowing about it: AIDs, Herpes, Warts...diseases that he may not even know he has or be carrying.
Please insist that he wear protection.
