Yes its possible for guys to get thrush too and for it to be passed from one to the other. So you will both need treatment.

It could be what we Americans call a yeast infection, you call it thrush. Candidiasis is probably a more accurate term.
Either way, if you have these symptoms, and now he has these symptoms, it doesn't take a rocket scientist (which I am NOT) to say that you probably did give it to him. Therefore, it is a sexually transmitted infection, even though the two of you have only ever been with each other. Just to split hairs. :D
But my point is that you both now need medical attention. Go see your doctors and refrain from sexual contact until you have this diagnosed and properly treated by a real licensed medical health professional (which I am NOT as well), not people who are guessing here on the internet.
