It is definitely possible to lose 15llbs in 5 weeks, although i have to stress not in a healthy way and in most cases it involves some kind of starvation or nutrient deprivation of the body!

The fact is everyone would love to have a quick fix option and trust me if there was one it would be bottled and everyone would be looking like Heidi Klum!!

However these fad diets/ crazes only work in the short term because as soon as you start eating normally you will put the weight back on (and in most cases some extra llbs for good measure too)...this is due to a change in your metabolism rate due to reduced calory intake etc, so therefore it slows in accordance to your energy intake so when you start eating again you have a slowed metabolism rate than when you started the diet.

From experience the best and proven way to both lose weight and keep the weight off as well as generally becoming more healthy is a good balanced exercise and diet.

The best option is to join a gym where they should carry out an induction where they will determine your exercise plan based on your individual goals (i.e in your case it is to lose weight). Ask a gym instructor on the best exercises to undertake to reach your specific problem areas as they are trained in these areas.

charmzx5 agony auntYES OF COURSE that is possiable jog for about half an hour(30 minutes) every day and do 20 or 35 sit up's or as much as you can do don't do over a limit you can't do because you body needs to relax inorder to loose weight you also need to east befor 6pm because the food you eat after 6 pm doesn't digest...eat less then what you eat...DO NOT STARVE YOUR SELF one thing i eat is activia yogurt it works one you eat this yorget belive it or not 5-25 minutes latter your going to use the bathroom lol but, that is only if you want to loose really fast weight fast and you slack out on working out...im 15 years old and i have a 6 pack i know how it feels working out and all

Of course. Its very plausible that's about 3 lbs a week. The best way to lose weight is to cut back on your calorie intake and increase your exercise. Check out a book at the library like South beach diet or The zone, and follow the diet. Those are both good books that are guaranteed to help you lose weight and keep you healthy. Also certain foods help in fat loss, like yogurt, so add plain yogurt to your diet everyday and at your age your going to need the added calcium. And in general, my secret to staying slim (is not only discipline) but I have a limited diet. I ONLY eat a range of like 14 different foods and that's it. I eat beans, whole grains, veggies (all kinds), fruits, oatmeal, rice, pasta (the one thing I can't give up), chicken,fish- seafood, eggs, turkey, yogurt, soy products, and nuts and olive oil and herbal teas. That's about it. I purposely don't eat cheese, bread, pastries, desserts, processed food,I eat absolutely no junk food or fast food, I rarely eat out unless its like healthy or really gourmet like sushi or a well known restaurant. Basically staying away from bread and cheese and heavy things like that really really helps in keeping your weight down. In terms of exercise, try to do a lot of calisthenics. Sit ups, push ups, leg ups, lunges, squats, try to do about 20 reps each of 3 sets (just to start out). And try jogging for 20 minutes twice a week. Rollerblading is a great exercise for your legs. Tennis is a great workout. Ballet, kickboxing, kung fu. There are even leagues you can join that will kick your butt into shape. You can do it! I think you'll do great!

Illithid agony auntThe best I've managed has been 2 lbs per week, and that was when I started off obese, and even then my doctor was concerned with the rapid weight loss. While it might be POSSIBLE to lose faster than that, it's not healthy to do to.

hi it is possible. But the chances are you will lose less, numbers mean nothing to be honest. It's the way you feel when you look at yourself. To get your 'bikini body' it is hard work, i'll be honest but if your commited then you might just succeed. Try eating lots of white fish, prawns, cod etc and BOILED rice, and lots of salad, try frying some peppers and putting that on lettuce and cucumber for lunch. I also find grilled low fat sausages and cooked apples is a very nice tea. For more info and recipes go on slimmingworld.com i find it amazinnggg!! Also excercis, excercise, excercise!!! I carntt sayy that enough. Running, jogging or maybe even power walkingg can help shift those uneading pounds and tone you muscles!! if there are pacific areas you want to target then just type it in on google, for example, 'how can i quickly and easily tone my thighs'. I dnt encourage you to do this but if you are then please do it properly :) xx

Dnt listen to the people saying its unhealthy or unsafe. If I knew ur current height and weight and what ur current eating habits are then I could tell you if its ppossible. If you are already eating "very" healthy then its probably not possible. Through some dedicated excersize and healthy dieting it is within grasp. Don't starve yourself just change what you eat when you get hubgry

It's not possible to lose that much weight safely in that small amount of time...you're only supposed to lose like 1 to 2 pounds a week. I don't even know if it's possible to do that UNsafely....You should've started before now...
