I just feel so special when I'm with him, and always get excited when I get to see him. (I only get to see him him every weekend, because of school and everything)The thing is, though, is it possible to fall in love for only around a month? I think about him nearly all the time, and kind of tune out thinking about him whenever my teachers are talking, lol. Or could it just be infatuation that's starting to turn into love? Thanks! xx

What you are feeling is infatuation. It is the excitement and new relationship energy that we have at the beginning of a relationship, that 'love' feeling where everything is wonderful. But it is not actually love, at least not yet. Love takes time, lots and lots of time spent together. That wonderful feeling is only temporary. What happens when it is gone is what tests a relationship to see if it is really love or not. Infatuation can dissapate over time or it can deepen into real love. When that happens we can look back and say it was love at first sight, but it wasnt really.

Hello dear. Yes, and in fact you can "fall in love" at first site. But this is not love. Whenever I hear someone say they "fell in love", I realize they are not talking about love. Love is not something you fall into. It is a decision you make, and keep making. What you are referring to is infatuation. That's the strong feeling of attraction you get with a certain person. It can be physical or mental, but ultimately it's emotional. It can happen instantly, or after a few meetings, or after months of knowing someone. But it usually doesn't last. That feeling is temporary. True love need not be.
