writes:Hi, I've been dating my boyfriend for about a year now. We are both 18 and in college and we had sex for the first time 2 weeks ago. We did use protection.My period was supposed to come a week after, but it still hasn't and my breasts have been very tender/swollen/sore. I'm a little scared. Is it possible that the condom broke, and we didn't noticed and I could be pregnant?Are pregnancy tests accurate this early on? Advice please! I know I shouldn't be, but I've been stressing about this ever since I missed my period!

 There is no way in the world you would not notice a broken condom. When the man pulls out, the condom will be around the base of his penis. There is no mistaking this. When a condom fails, it fails.
It is possible that stress could delay your period. The only way to be for sure is to do see a doctor. If you pregnant, delaying the visit won't make things go away. Go see a doctor, and remove this stressor from your shoulders.
