reader, anonymous, writes (2 March 2009): In my early stages of pregnancy i was horny as hell but my husband totally enjoyed it he seized every chance he had to have sex . When i told my OB/GYN he said it was quite okay unless i was feeling pain or something.

Yes it is very safe and doctors incourage it because it makes labor easier and the orgasm late in the pregnancy help start labor which is also a good thing. Since it your boyfriend who is worried at you next appointment when he and the doctor are in the room just ask if sex is ok and when he hears the doc say its ok he will go aong with it.

 Not only is it ok, its good for the baby...in a sense. When mommy is happy, baby is happy. Your doctor will tell you if you should wait on sex. If your dr hasn't said anything, then your fine.

 Yes it's okay unless your OB/GYN says otherwise. It will not hurt the baby, but when you get past about seven months, check back with the doctor.
