Is it normal to think about other men?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Why do I keep fantasizing about other men? I've been with my boyfriend for over a year, and a week or two ago it came out that we had both cheated. We're working through it and are closer and happier than ever, but even so the guy I cheated with often pops into my head during sex or when I'm lying in bed at night. He was the first person I've ever cheated with, and it's only been since then that I've had these fantasies. Now it's not just him I think about but my bf's new friend Dave who I get on really well with, even though he has a pregnant girlfriend (who hates me because we get on so well). Am I just seeking a thrill? Is this normal? What can I do to stop myself from thinking about other men?

Hi,

No you are not on your own wanting sex with other men instead of your boyfriend. I think about other men all the time, and when I am out and I see a guy I often wonder how big his dick is etc. I have also on occasions cheated, though my boyfriend will never find out, and there is every chance I will cheat again. It doesnt mean I dont want to be with my boyfriend, or that I don't love him, it means I like men!

Like the previous answer, I wouldnt suggest you go and let Dave fuck you with him being a close friend of your boyfriend, but if you do want a thrill or excitement behind your boyfriends back, be discrete and do it.

I cheat on my b/f now and again, and it just draws mw closer to him (my b/f). I find the excitement of having sex with other men is just amazing, but it also makes me love my b/f even more. I don't expect many people to get this, but this works for me. I wouldnt risk having sex with your b/f's mate...I let one of my b/f's mates fuck me, and it was just a little to close to home, but I say go for it if you really want to....lifes too short and all that.
