Is it normal to have feelings for a one night stand?

Alright so I'm just wondering if it is normal to have feelings for a one night stand?

I know it defeats the purpose of it being a one night thing, but whenever I go with a girl for a night I end up wanting more than just a quick fling.

Does this hapen to a lot of guys or am I just being obsessive here?

Thanks

Fiona xxx agony auntThere are two types of attraction - love and lust.

Don't confuse the two mate.

If you really like a girl, don't have a one night stand, have a proper date and see her again before you have sex.

It is one thing having the no strings fun, for the lust and excitement. If that is the case you will have fond memories looking back. As long as you make the distinction and choice correctly!

Quite often people go for a very different type of person for a one night stand, than they would date. Just wondering if you went for somebody who is girlfriend materieal, rather than knowingly just for fun.

Be careful.

leanne.od agony aunti find it hard to beleive that a guy actually has feelings for his one night stands! seriously, so many can't even remember the names or faces of their "triumphs" so i find it refreshing to hear from someone like you.

maybe you shouldn't have so many one night stands? just a thought but the next time you pull a girl and sleep with her, maybe exchange numbers and give her a call?

god luck.....!

Andy00 agony auntWell, it's not the sort of thing I've ever done, or for that matter, ever even tried to do. But in the recent months, it is something I have considered.

My feelings were brought on by being dumped, and wanted to have a one night stand for... I dunno... Comfort(?). I'm not sure my reasons justify why I wanted one, but they're why I even considered doing something like that.

So yes, I'm sure that if a guy wanted a one night stand WITH reasons, then another guy could just as easilly want one without reason. I'd say it's normal.
