I'm not a virgin and I was pretty wild up until 4 years ago. He was long but not too wide. It was painful but bearable. Is this normal after not having intercourse for a while? it shouldnt be painful the whole time, go get checked out sweetie..... i heard that HPV can make you bleed after sex and make it painful....but it could be nothing as well so don't freak out, just get it done so you can feel better

You mentioned length, so the only thing I could think of is he bumped/bruised your cervix, which can cause some light spotting.
The vaginal tissues can be very thin and easily irritated, but that usually happens when a woman gets older.
If it keeps happening, make an appointment for an exam.
Meanwhile, try a good silicone based lube to reduce friction on the tissues.
Best Wishes.

I guess it could be a normal reaction after a long period of no sexual intercourse but there's always a chance that you have something else going on. I think it's safest to check with your gynecologist, don't you think? Maybe find out if your body has changed somehow. Good luck with the new guy!
