When i was pregnant me and my husband didn't really have sex alot after the first 3 months of me being pregnant, i din't want to do anything to harm the baby and to be honest i didn't really want sex. Now the baby is 8 weeks old-we haven't had sex since i was 4 months pregnant becuase i was very sore for weeks after giving birth and bleeding for about 5 weeks. But the other night we decided to have sex and it really hurt,i'm definatly not sore anymore so i know its not that and was well lubricated. We carried on because not having sex for nearly 7-8 months gets quite irrotating and in the end i just couldn't care how much it hurt i needed it. We have done it once more since and it wasn't as painful but painful enough, i really want this to get sorted,is it just because i've had a baby or what? We both have sex on a regularly and enjoy iy,i don't want that to change but it scares me the fact that i know it will be painful and the sooner it goes the better. Can you help me? It's completely normal, you just had a person pop out of your vagina. I had my last second and last child 3 years ago and it's still painful up inside of me. The Doctor said that once you hava kids that your uterus drops and becomes more sensitive. I would just take it slow. Take it slow until your body is ready to accept it at full strength. If you are having problems where you can't even do it slow, then maybe you should consult a physician.
