My father is from Greece and in my family the man has always been the one that carries most of the burden. I thought all households worked this way.Is this not true? Is it just me and my friends or are these men all wanting to be the woman now and be taken care of?Do men not have men roles anymore.I feel like both. Now woman are men and woman or just men.i'm confused... Note that this is not my particular view but it is an explanation. From their point of view women have been lazy and now that they are finally doing something it's time to show them what it's like to have to support another person. Think about this, if a woman stated that she wanted to stay home and "keep house" most people wouldn't question it. Now if a man said that he would be considered a slacker or lazy. Personally I think a husband and wife should both work and support each other. If I can't sit at home watching T.V. then neither can she.

It sure would be easier if only American men were lazy wouldnt it? Wouldnt the world be a better place if good and bad fell into nice little catagories like that?
It sounds like you want a more traditional man. This makes sense based on your Greek family backround. I absolutely loved being in Greece and the people there are wonderful in so many ways. Family really means so much more to them than other places Ive been to. Sorry to say but there were a couple lazy guys there though (hehehehe).
Maybe you should take a trip back to Greece or another foreign country and meet some men from different cultures. It may be that you just dont relate to American men well. Ive never dated a woman from a different country but I often find them fascinating simply because of the difference in values. You can find nice men in America though if you want to. You can find anything you want in America (and ofcoarse many things you dont). Consider where you are looking. Do you go to a church? Does your family have other families that have some nice sons? Do you have a wide group of friends that share your beliefs?
Im just trying to get you to think outside the box here. Hopefully you can find your prince. I know we all deserve the happiness you seek.
Take care!

My man supports me and our kids. You need to find someone else b/c if us women didn't let it happen, it wouldn't happen!

You and your friends need to dump the losers and look harder, the good guys are out there, believe me. You and your friends just stumbled onto some bad apples.
