I think these types of website which r usually free can be concerning because they are not monitored enough. In addition to this this I now think the uk has laws prohibiting the viewing/owning of any kind of violent porn even if it is acted.

Look at the flags when answering questions:
England is even more prudish then America.
From wikipedia:
United Kingdom
The sale or distribution of hardcore pornography through any channel was prohibited until the rules were relaxed in 2002, however the rules are still quite strict.[citation needed] The possession of pornographic images for private use has never been an offence in the UK. This means that UK citizens have always been able to access content on sites overseas without breaking any laws, except for child pornography.[citation needed]
Adult pornography that falls under the Government's classification of "extreme pornography" is illegal to possess as of January 26, 2009, carrying a three year prison sentence. This was proposed by the Government after the murder of Jane Longhurst, claiming that such material was viewed by murderer Graham Coutts.[18][19] Critics of the law point out that the law will criminalise images of legal acts between consenting adults.[20][21] and have criticised the lack of evidence of a link between viewing such material, and violent crime[22]

Of course, what is considered extreme porn and what isn't, that is up for debate or rather, as this is England and they never talk about sex, it is up to the jury. A jury of your peers, take a hard look at your peers, do you want them to decide what goes on in your bed room?
It is unlikely the British police will start to arrest people for watching online porn, most of the country would be in jail. But the issue is not as clear cut as it is in most of the rest of the western world.
Purely in theory, if while browsing for porn that is acceptable a popup shows porn that isn't, you are breaking the law. As said, the police has better things to do but you asked what the law was. Just don't go killing anybody and they can't proof that it was your porn viewing that caused it.

Anyway, unless you PAY with a credit card to watch it, no one will know.Porn is a healthy masturbation aid so long as it doesn't interfere with your sex or work lives :)CHILL and enjoy...

As long as you're over 18 and the people you watched are over 18, it's not illegal.

Not at all, unless it's child pornography...
