writes:hey, it's hard to how to explain what i need to, theres this guy and basically i don't know if he likes me. he told me something only him and his parents know not even his best friends know so why me? and he cancelled seeing his brother in amsterdam to come to my birthday also he was aware that i set the party up in couples and still came personally i would not go because i would feel awkward if i didn't like the person in that way. my friends also said he would not take his eyes of me he also lingered at the end of the drive when i was saying goodbye and it seemed he was almost waiting for something. . . i was in a mood yesterday and i asked him about him knowing about couple thing and he said oh i denied i didn't know what it was about because some one was there who coulden't hear. i told him i invited him as a friend he was quiet for bout 5 minutes then said i know. ever since he's been weird he even told me to be quiet beause he has "issues" to sort out! he never does that..urgent help required and much appreciated!

reader, anonymous, writes (8 July 2008): He definitely likes you. Either that or he wants to be your best friend. If you like him I reckon he would be good for you, seeing as he feels he can trust in you and he would prefer to go to a couples party with you, than see his brother in Amsterdam.
He's obviously shy towards you and I think if anything was to form between you, you would have to make the first move. However, he could feel that you are easier to talk to than his best mates, and he could also be gay, though if he can't take his eyes off of you, it's highly unlikely.
:) Speak to him or befriend his best mates to see if he talks about you a lot.

If he didnt like you,then why would he stare at you and go all quite when you mention about being just friends.
Otherwise,why would there be an awkward silence after he mentioned 'friends'.
He's crazy fro you,but do you like him.
