Is it fair to spend the weekend out of town without her?

Dear Cupid

My girlfriend and I live in Colorado. I have good friends in north, central and south Florida, and California. I want to go visit them soon and would like to take my girlfriend with me to see most of them. But taking her with me to see all of them would both be impractical and a drag. Like two guys going deer hunting with a vegan it wouldn't work out. Is it fair play to spend weekend out of town without her?

cd206 agony auntOf course! Just because you're dating doesn't mean you should be joined at the hip. Time apart is healthy for both of you. Just tell her plenty of time before that you're going so she has some time to get used to the idea.
