I use an electric razor with the guard. It doesnt get it "bare" smooth, but a shave that close would make me nervous. My wife actually does this for me while I lay back. Its quite a turn on for both of us. Even if we cant go at it then and there, I usually get a "close inspection" as a teaser for later. Highly recommended if you have someone you trust.

Having done it before, I can tell you that it is not impossible. But it is a daunting task.
It takes no time to remove the hair around the penis, that's nothing. It's getting the hair off the testicles and chode (perineum - the space between the testicles and anus). You CAN cut yourself while shaving so if you're looking to do this, be EXTREMELY careful. I did not use a razor - I used a hair trimmers. I cut myself sometimes - but it wasn't bad. Just a little spotting.
But it CAN be done. Just be careful.
Hope this helps.

Well im my experience most men are not shaven down there, not that Im an expert!
Shaving isnt a good idea as it can lead to ingrowing hairs and requires alot of maintenence. Waxing may be a better idea, if you are willing to take the pain! Hair removal cream may also be a good cheap idea (make sure it says on the box you can use it down there!)
Ofcourse, it does have its positives, making you look bigger and being more hygienic.

It's not impossible or difficult - it's just annoying.
Shaving is something I tend to shy away from - I don't trust a razor that close to my nether regions.
Waxing is pretty easy, but it hurts - how much depends on the extent of the hair removal.
We also have the option of hair removal creams, but some people have a reaction to these, and some work better than others.
Like I said, whatever method we choose, it's not at all impossible. It's just annoying to do.
