I don't know why but for some reason, all of a sudden today all these little flakes have been falling out of my hair.. it's probly dandruff, why would it start today??? I've never had it before, I tried to brush the flakes out but there were a whole lot and it was like a never ending battle.

Is it dandruff, why do I have it, and why now??? Is there anything to get rid of it??

i have alot of trouble with dandruf and like you it was just out of know where but my mam hellped me and it really does work all u need to do is moisturise olive oil or baby oil into ur scalp and leave in for about 20 mins then fine comb ur hair and when u have that done then wash your hair but put the shampoo in you hair before putting it under the water because it will go greasy looking other wise but if u rub the shampoo in first and scrub it really well then your hair should come out really soft and healty lookin hope it helps you out :D

didda123 agony auntHave you being using any new products on your hair?

I think it is probably caused by something you have being using which has dried out and now appears to be falling out like dandruff, sometimes certain products do this i have noticed it myself gell or mouse products which dry out over a day or so.

If it does happen to be dandruff though you can buy shampoo which will clear the problem almost instantly so don't worry too much.

A female reader, kellyxxx United Kingdom +, writes (6 April 2009):

kellyxxx agony auntDandruff is caused by a dry scalp so use a specialised shampoo that deals with dandruff and condition your hair too. Make sure you rinse your hair thouroughly. See if it still happens if you have no products in your hair, don't use wax or gel fore a day or two. If it does not get better then see a doctor. Anyone can get dandruff, at any age. It may seem random but most people first notice it in their teens.x
