reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2006): she has people making her feel bad for dating someone from a black race. and she'd rather not deal with the constant critisism and/or date you. i dont know what the big deal is on dating someone of a different race...we are all the same. forget about her and find someone who isnt ashamed of dating you because of your race and is very comfortable with your race.

 well thse days race is irrevlant when it comes to love and relations mixed race relationships are very common these days. Have you her asked her tthe question wheher she dpesn'#t want you because you are black? May be what you think is not true [erhaps she might have somebody or may be its your [personality or looks even I somehow do not hink that she is a racist.

I am white and my boyfriend is asian. It has never been a problem for us, but I do know that it is not easy. Life is not easy for us, we have totally differnt backgrounds and beliefs. Its very hard sometimes, maybe the house she was raised in has different views than you. Either way you will just have to ask her, my boyfriend doesn't try to impose anything on me. Maybe you should just ask her, maybe something else is bothering her.

 Errm, I am not sure how to answer this question. You only say that you are blackand she is Asian. That may be a problem, i.e. not to say she is racist, but perhaps she comes from a strict background where interacial dating is out of the question. You need to talk to her my friend, no one can really answer the question unless they know your girlfriend or you. Could you give more details or be more specific, did she say something prejudiced, does she seem funny around you. Bro, you need to give more details, as a sister myself, I know how you might be feeling, but there is not enough info here for me to give an honest answer. xXx
